You just need to be belay certified in order to volunteer with Adaptive Climbing Group! We also ask that you take a short volunteer training before your first session, which covers disability etiquette and a few other essential topics. Volunteer trainings are led regularly, both virtually and in-person, at participating locations.
No, volunteers do not need to pay to attend regular indoor climbing sessions. There may be some costs associated with outdoor trips based on the length, location, and type.
No, you do not need to bring your own gear! If you have equipment that you would like to bring, please feel free to do so. However, our gym partners are prepared to outfit participants with all of the required items (shoes, harness, belay device, etc.).
