Indoor climbing is our bread and butter. With the help of our gym partners, we host regular sessions at each of our locations. An indoor session is a great way to kick off your involvement with ACG. No prior experience is necessary! Keep reading to learn more.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to climb with Adaptive Climbing Group?


Participants are asked to contribute $11 for each indoor session. This is a 501c3 tax-deductible donation to the Brooklyn Boulders Foundation and helps to keep climbing accessible and affordable for everyone. Payment can be made at the front desk of the facility upon arrival. Volunteers do not need to pay.




How do I sign up?


Visit our Locations page to find the ACG chapter nearest to you! There are Google Forms to sign up for upcoming indoor and kids sessions, where available.




Who should I contact if I have additional questions?

Am I an adaptive climber?


If you have a permanent disability that limits normal daily function either physically, mentally, or developmentally, the Adaptive Climbing Group considers you to be an adaptive climber.




Do I need to bring my own gear?


No, you do not need to bring your own gear! If you have equipment that you would like to bring, please feel free to do so. However, our gym partners are prepared to outfit participants with all of the required items (shoes, harness, belay device, etc.).




Do I need to have a disability to participate?


Not at all! If you're interested in making a difference, we would highly encourage you to volunteer at one of our upcoming sessions. Friends, family members, and aids are also welcome to join sessions to support or accompany adaptive climbers who participate in our programming.
